Established in 2021 to promote our responsibility to the environment, Lo-CRBN was founded as an experiment to test the open market for the desire to meet Net-Zero targets that were to be later outlined in the COP26 summit in Glasgow, Scotland. There was an overwhelming response from business owners and key management staff that supported the movement, yet there was very little to no direct support being provided in reducing the energy usage of a commercial property without engaging multiple consultants and contractors. Lo-CRBN was later launched as a solution to this problem.
At Lo-CRBN, our sustainability engineers will work with you to produce a low-zero carbon (LZC) report using industry leading IESVE dynamic modelling software which we will use to provide tailored options to reduce the annual energy usage and carbon emissions of your development.
Our LCC approved mechanical and electrical (MEP) design engineers will use the basis outlined in our studies to provide a comprehensive design to the RIBA stage you require. Through our established installation partnerships we offer you the opportunity to take the project from concept to completion with our continued involvement and support.
Our team of highly skilled and experienced low carbon consultants, building services engineers and low carbon energy assessors work with you to find the right solution for your project. As experts in balancing performance enhancement against capital costs, we work with you to meet the specific requirements and challenges that every project poses.
Technological advancements from the software that we use for design, to the controllers utilising artificial intelligence to smartly control HVAC systems in commissioned projects have made energy saving a truly dynamic and exciting concept.
Working in the carbon and energy reduction sector since 2015, our engineers have gained extensive knowledge and skills to provide detialed and accurate energy assessments and engaging with our service engineering partners to deliver complete solutions. We have always been passionate about using innovative ways to help clients achieve a more sustainable business. This is equally important for the environment, as it is to assist in reducing unnecessary utility bill costs. The technology we use at Lo-CRBN to dynamically model any building and assess the data allows us to meet those goals for the benefit of our clients and the environment.
Lo-CRBN specialises in carbon and energy reduction to promote a healthier and better world for the next generation. With this as our core value, Lo-CRBN offsets the carbon emissions that we use over the year to do our job.
Unfortunately, because of the industrial mistakes and necessities of the past offsetting what we use today isn't enough to bring back the natural balance we need to restore our home. Therefore, here at Lo-CRBN we will not only offset our environmental impact, we will offset it again. 200% of our annual usage is compensated for each year through various environmental charity partners and voluntary efforts. We partner with local businesses to make a differnce, in our own backyard.
We deliver RIBA Stage 2 consultancy services for our clients, working alongside architects and engineers. We progress the design to RIBA Stage 3 or 4 to show a clear path for the design teams that utilises the latest products and technologies on the market. We offer support and design from RIBA Stages 2-7.
Lo-CRBN supports businesses in achieving their carbon commitments and reduce energy usage in line with the COP26 2050 Net-Zero targets. This will not only be beneficial for the environment but can also offset the rising cost of energy. Lo-CRBN actively contributes to climate change initiatives as part of our business model.
We use state of the art building modelling softwares and propose new building technologies to significantly minimise the impact we are having on our environment. Through reducing the energy consumption of the built environment which equates to nearly 40% of all emissions we can make a positive difference with the choices we make.
Lo-CRBN is merging with JPA ME Consultants and is no longer a separate trading entity.
