Sustainable Mechanical and Electrical Design (MEP)

Lo-CRBN offers a comprehensive sustainable MEP design service to maximise the potential from the initial energy and carbon studies that we undertake as part of RIBA Stage 2 works into a complete RIBA Stage 3 submission. Alongside our sister company JPA M&E Consultants we can be heavily involved from RIBA Stages 2 to 7, providing continuity and integrity to the whole project. Lo-CRBN pride ourselves on our commitment to the environment and to reducting carbon emissions with every project. As such we engage at the earliest stage to ensure the client is best informed about the options available to them and to

Mechanical Engineering Design

We will only design projects that include elements of sustainable design here at Lo-CRBN. Air source heat pumps  are being pushed across the construction industry recently but this 'one-size fits all' solution is not always the best. Our engineers are experienced in designing an array of decarbonised heating and hot water generating solutions. From ground source heat pumps, phase changing thermal storage with operationally zero standing loss to vast heat networks. We have you covered.

Electrical Engineering Design

he key top carbon neutrality is offsetting what we use when we look to decarbonise the generation of heat, and the power that we use day to day. Our team is experienced in designing renewable solutions from photovoltaics to hydro-electric generation.

Decarbonisation

Here at Lo-CRBN we specialise in providing decarbonisation startegies that maximise the potential of the existing building. We use the existing information available to us including usage data, current service strategy and building fabric constructions to engineer the optimal solution for your building.

District Heat Networks

Our CIBSE CP1 Heat Network qualified engineers deliver district solutions. This allows for an entire masterplan or network of buildings to benefit from large scale low carbon heat generation.
